Hi Everyone!

I have some odds and ends here to share to make sure we are all ready for all the events we have coming up.  Before I do, thank you to the parents who were able to attend the coach's meeting this afternoon.  I know Coach Wright and Coach Amanda appreciate your support and understanding.

• Dance Team pre-season practice continues tomorrow, July 29th and on  Thursday July 30th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Centre Stage
  • Tomorrow the girls are supposed to wear their green shorts with the zebra print lettering top (bring poms)
  • Thursday the girls are supposed to be wearing their pink, black & white top with the skort (bring poms)
• Payment to Centre Stage for the pre-season practice was due today.
  • If you have not paid yet, please remember to send $85 with your dancer tomorrow
  • there are a few dancers who have not completed the required Centre Stage Registration Form for the season
    • Registration form is attached here for your convenience
    • please complete and turn in tomorrow along with the $25 registration fee
  • A note about monthly payments to Centre Stage for our Studio time
    • payments are due the first of every month, beginning in August
    • As discussed previously, the monthly payment to Centre stage is $85
    • payments are considered late after the 15th of the month and a $10 late fee will be assessed at that time
    • Centre Stage does not send out monthly invoices, rather, just a late notice
• Thursday, July 30th morning is our Dance Clinic
  • Dancers are to report to the main gym between 7:00 am and 7:30 am
    •  breakfast will be provided
    • Dancers are to arrive dressed and ready
      • Black skort with pink/black/white top that says "lassiter dance" and Jazz shoes
      • Hair should be worn half up/half down with pretty make-up
        • ribbons will be provided
    • Bring a water bottle and a sack lunch
      • REMEMBER - YOU HAVE PRACTICE FOLLOWING THE CLINIC
• Friday, July 31st  is LHS G.O. Day and our picture day
  • Save time and make your purchases on line at www.cobbk12.org/lassiter
    • class dues*yearbooks*and more
    • Schedules will be given out at GO day and only in person
    • the school website has more information
      • BTW - I tried this last night and it worked well, very easy
      • they mention prices go up after 7/31
  • We strongly suggest you take this option given the time we are scheduled for squad pictures
  • Please arrive in Coach Wright's room at 10:00 am
    • girls can change into their uniforms and get ready
    • girls should be wearing their black and gold LHS uniforms and skirts with jazz shoes
      • hair down with pretty make up
      • The team will walk over to the field together to be ready for the squad pictures
        • Their appointment time is 10:45 but need to be there a few minutes early so they are ready
        • individual pictures (for those who have opted) will follow the squad pictures
      • It is strongly suggested you bring an umbrella for shade (it gets hot standing out on that field) and a water bottle
        • I speak from experience (I get crabby when I am hot and sweaty)!
  • New addition to our schedule
    • Monday, August 3rd at 6:00 pm in the theater
      • the team and parents will be participating in a conduct meeting hosted by the new athletic director/administration
      • more information to follow on this shortly
  • Seniors Only
    • Senior pictures are on Monday August 3rd at 6:30 pm
    • arrive at the football field in uniform (follow above instructions for the squad pictures)
    • suggested dress for parents is "Sunday" attire
• It was confirmed the girls will be performing at the 8/15 Scrimmage
  • Details regarding meeting place and time, etc to follow shortly
  • the performance will be a pre-game performance
